I needed a stool that would accommodate 5 different family members, my husband, whose 6' tall, myself, and our 3 kids, ages 13, 9 & 5. The stool also needed to be attractive enough to fit in with our open floor plan, and sturdy. I wanted one with a back & foot rest. My husband said it should be easy to clean and most of all ADJUSTABLE HEIGHTS! Unbelievably, this stool met everyone of our requirements! The base is very heavy & the adjustable heights can be done even while you're sitting in the chair, just lightly pull on the lever, right under the seat. To clean, use a damp cloth The leather is well constructed and doesn't feel or look cheap, & seems to be able to handle our rough & tough kids.

I bought these to use at a kitchen counter. They look good and work really well. The adjustability is great especailly with kids. Allows them to sit up higher at our counter-height island. They are very heavy, which I feel is a good thing, the kids can't move them around or tip them over.

I shopped around for weeks until I found these stools at such a great price. They are perfect. I have two small children 2 and 6, the adjustable height is perfect for them. We eat breakfast and lunch at the kitchen counter everyday now. They are very beautiful, and go well in our newly renovated mordern high end kitchen. I would challange anyone to find a more comfortable, well priced stool.
